Yes. Long term though not sure if a success story. Part of the issue in that is people don't like minimal damage to such an expensive fish so are quick to quit.

I can see why people would be hesitant. Mine is 9" and thinks he can take me as it is.
 
Aggression to other fish and to us is different. We are big and intimidate them, they retaliate as any scared animal does by attacking. Where as another fish they may not perceive as a threat. The way they see a threat is usually through food, but sometimes size or species makes a different. For instance. My black wolf went after 7" purple wolf but completely ignored a 17" endli bichir, or any bichir for that matter. Or it went after a wyckii catfish which was originally 10" but ignored my much thicker Trachy whom was the same length. I personally think it may be doable.
