More than one chocolate cichlid?

I recently lost my Jardini due to him committing suicide and jumping in the middle of the night *sigh*.

I have 1 chocolate cichlid in the tank right now and one hell of a begger . I was wondering if adding another would be a good idea?

I have a 90g tank at the moment and the one I have is about 2.5". Thinking of adding another one that's a bit smaller.

I had a pair, all they did was fight. I had to give one away...

I don't know if it was M/F, M/M, or F/F but whatever it was they HATED each other. The Chocolate I kept is actually a complete jerk, while the one I gave away is very peaceful. So as usual it can depend on the individual fish.
