Completely moved in and want to move my tanks. Water tables are fine etc... But had a guy come out to do tests and my water has crazy amounts of sulfer and iron. My well needs a big filtration system. Would you chance the fish or will the two above kill the fish? These 2 power bills are killing me

Hello; many years ago I kept tanks with well water that had iron and some sulfur. I cannot relate the levels as it was never tested. My tanks and fish did well for over ten years.
The levels were enough to stain a porcelin tub. The odor was not usually notable.

I can only suggest a trial tank setup for a while to see how the water will affect things. You may have to adapt the type of fish kept to those suitable for the water.

Good luck.

for the rare case when i advise running carbon this is one. change it every other week.

I have a lot of iron in my well water. I bought one of those filters that you can hook up to the water line and some adapters so I could connect it to my python and filter the incoming tank water through it. works great.
