Here are my 4 newest additions to the ""world's largest"" lungfish collection.
Hope you like. Guess... annectens or aethiopicus? Each photo is of a different fish, still in their bag. And of course, sorry about the photos...

They are from a LFS - and of course none remain :)

hard to say given the pics, but with what we can see here they all look like annectens. any pics of the rest of the collection?

...and at least "world's largest" is in quotes ;)

I'm interested in hearing how you have all these howsed as well, and how many you have + pics

Americanus - Annectens is what I thought too, but the spotting on the caudal is pretty prominent - I think a little time will tell. They were pretty dark in the tank, as well.
I have posted a couple of the others in other threads - I think you caught them all - am working to get my girlfriend busy with her digital camera :)
As for stoned's questions - I am up to 16 South American Lungs, and 19 African Lungs. Only a few have significant size to them, right now, so most of them are in growout tanks, some are in 100 gallon long's (acrylic) and so forth. I'll be posting pictures here and there as I get 'em!

Envying ya man, envy!!

Wish i could get some over here in aus, but i lack money for tanks and i don't have room for anything.

Keep up the addiction man, Cheers!
