Mormyrid adult sizes ?

I know there are tons out there, but I have never had one - and since I saw a buddy's mormyrid in NYC, I'm hooked, and want one. Since there are so many different common names, I won't even go there.

What are the smallest types? Largest types? Do any of them ever accept dry food? I assume they are temperature sensitive as well?

Amazing fish, ive tried houseing a few but our hard water just doesnt seem to jive with them.

I've never seen mine take dry foods loves frozen blood worms but will also nibble on red worms. Mine does not have a problem with any take mates I have him in a 125 oddball set up with about 10 different species no problems. They just need a tube or a cave to retreat to.
