I'm curious, when keeping a school of Mormyrids rather than a single specimen, do you need more, less, or the same amount of space per fish. I plan to someday keeping (a) Cornish jack(s). This would be in the far-off future, but I'm the sort who plans life ahead.

If you want a cornish jack best to keep it alone as they become very aggressive and doesn't like to school in aquaria. Only in the wild when you see them together. Also you may need a big tank if you want a school of cornish jack.

i think you should kept them alone per tank because they possess an organ that emits electric fields causing the fish to go haywire. they are aggressive among themselves.

you'd need a swimming pool or tropical lake to house more than one for life man, they get many feet long. And as I understand it they are comparable to if not more agressive than mbuna. Hell, thats what they eat. I do think they have some sort of society though.
