I though I would bring this topic in this forum since there is so little information about the fish, everyone else who has similar experience are welcome to add more info to share it in this forum. The purpose for this topic is nothing more than to keep this fish as long as it can in our tank and healthy, and hopefully will last.
I had this fish previously before they died caused of the poor water quality in my tank and lack of oxygen. I've read some people thought about this fish in the forum and seems that it is not easy to keep and to feed this fish.
Back here, they are available in some lfs. But it depends on the seasons as they say.
Now that I reset up my tank, and get the new fish, hope it will last.
Firstly, as I asked the lfs owner, they give them bloodworms and flakes only. And so those are the food I give them now.
Thus, as they are young its always best to keep them in a groups. However as they grow, they start to be territorial and aggressive toward its own kind of even tank mates. So its best to provide some hiding space.
Currently in my 20 galls tank, I two of this fish, around 2" each, together with 2 catfishs and a pleco, all are around the same size.
I am hoping that there are more info coming into this tread from those who has successfully keep this fish.
here is a pic of the fish
