Ok so I was getting ready to go to bed when I found this on CNN
http://www.thedenverchannel.com/news/16316628/detail.html

It says a child was killed b/c her sitter re-enacted the video game on her. Also that was an allgedged plocie comment. At the end of the article it says that The accused told someone that his hands were registered weapons. Now does this sound like a video game thing or one to many kung fu movies. B/c back in the day a good portion of professional fighters including martial arts had to register there hands as weapons.

Let me know what you think blame the video game or just blame someone for being REALLY REALLY stupid and careless.

Wow. I don't blame the video games for that. I blame the mother. Why would you leave a 16 year old with their boyfriend/girlfriend unsupervised and expect them to actually take care of your younger child? Negligent much?

And I'm sorry, but we all know full well that any kid who would help her boyfriend beat her little sister to death must not have been right to begin with, and it should have been obvious to the mother. Plus, these kids are way too old to use the "video game made me do it" excuse.

nah i use to babysit at 16 with my boyfriend. looking after a 3 and 5 year olds. lol and i would never do anything that stupid. i think if some1 is over the age of 5-6 they are very capable of knowing what they are doing.

at the very he admited that his hands were deadly weapons. if so you shouldn't use you "skills" on a little kid thats just wrong in every way.

This is lame.

Princess, I think you'd have to admit that most of us here are not like the general public. :ROFL:Esssentially, I think a good portion of the MFK crew is more intelligent than the masses. I mean, the site is dedicated to a hobby that's all about going above and beyond to provide the best for another living creature when we could very well not take proper care of our fish like most everyone else.

I agree that someone over 6 should know what they're doing, but my point was that many 16 year olds would opt to pay more attention to their boyfriend than their siblings, especially in the situation that it was only one kid and the two of them. I doubt it would result in death except on rare occasions, though.

The major issue I have with the mother leaving the little girl with the two teens is that if the elder sister was mentally unstable enough to participate in an act like this, she would have shown signs, even little signs, of being unfit to be around children previously. It's a parent's job to pay attention to their children, the mom should have seen her older daughter needed psychological help.

lol i see your point, not every 16 year old is as good as i was! lol i got so good at babysitting i became a teacher. :D

Maybe I'm tired but that seemed a little ramble-ish.What I got out of it was that a littler girl did a finishing move from mortal combat on her sister?

when she executed it correctly was there a scary disembodied voice that yelled "Brutal KO!!!!"
