Mosaic Gars

Can someone tell me more about these fish, there were a few things that had showed up on the search engine, but not that much had to do with these false gars, as it did the real ones (ie; florida, or aligator)

also feel free, well no feel very encouraged to post your pictures of them.

deffinitely one of my favorite fish due to them looking like a gar, in a sence but not growing all that big, fairly inexpensive.

striped characin?
they get to a foot max.
dont move much.
sometimes hard to get off live.
sometimes very very easy.

know as the spotted pike characin not to difficult to get off of live food stays small around 12'' like alot of top fish needs to be kept we'll covered

in captivity they get around the same size.
