Mosquito fish

Ok so i just got 4 mosquito fish. 1 male and 3 females. I have them in a non heated 5 gallon tank barebottom and no deco. I want to make something out of this. Any tips to carry on with.

Put some hiding places in there for the fry when they are born because the parents will eat the fry if they feel like it. Clean water and good food makes for happy fish.

As stated above, add lots of floating plants to prevent the adults from eating the fry. Easy fish to breed.
