could these 2 be kept together? mosquitofish are aggressive but Killifish like the Floroda Flag should be able to hold their own...right?

I think so...

Well mosquitos are mid - top dwellers and floridas are mainly bottom - mid dwellers. So they should be OK but just watch out as the florida's are a more timid Killi so i think it will work =]]

luckily i still have my backup tank for white clouds. it would look madly overstocket but i have some kick...err...butt filtration

they should be good together, depending on the size of the tank you can even add some tadpole madtoms or something like that for a nice native tank

American flagfish aren't that timid enough they'd back off from possible harassments. They act like aggressive cichlids and in fact, were mistaken as cichlids before they were marked as killifish.

Maybe. Flagfish are pretty assertive, but Gambusia can be downright vicious. If you want a display tank (rather than a feeder tank) get some Fundulus species as your topdwellers. They get along better with others, and are better-looking than Gambusia in my opinion.

Well flagfish and mosquitofish live in same waterways. I believe that flagfish can hold their ground against the mosquitofish. Yes mosquitofish are fin nipper but I like see them try to the flagfish.

my florida flags got destroyed by my golden wonders!!! :nilly:

Hmm Tadpole madtoms would be awsome =]]I suggest you get 2 flags and a madtom=]]AWSOME
