i have mosquitos breed ing in my turtle tank. what the best way to get rid of them. i cleaned the hole tank out and stuff and 2 days later another batch came alive. is there anything i can do bc i dont want to haft to move the tank out side, thanks

Mosquito eggs float, so you may have left eggs on the side of the tank when you cleaned it. And for some reason, mosquitos tend to lay more eggs in water that already has some eggs.

Add floating plants like water hycinth or parrot feather and then add some gambusia (mosquitofish. These little livebearers eat primarily mosquito larva. The plants will keep the turtles from eating all of the mosquitofish. You can even catch your own out by Del Mar and Carlsbad, just off of I-5.
You can also add in feeder guppies from the lfs. They'll also make short work of any larvae.

i use to put rosies in my lil water gardens i kept out side they ate all the larve if you keep the water moving they wont lay there eggs in it

thanks for the help

If you add a powerhead to give constant surface motion it cuts down on mosquitos but I would just add gambusia (mosquito fish) that look like very plain guppies and can be found everywhere for free. They love wrigglers and if they get eaten it doesn't really matter.

Platys will take care of it.

Mosquito fish, the name says it all ! Hope you get rid of those pests soon!

Yeah gambusia will own the mosquitos.
