hi, a while ago i emptied my tank and completely forgot i had a moss ball in my breeder net. i left the tank empty for maybe 2-3 days and and the only thing i could do was throw it in a little plastic bowl i had until i refilled the tank. when i took it out of the breeders net it was still moist by the way. now im wondering is it still alive?

sorry if thats too small to tell, but the top of it is like a really light green and the all of the bottom part is still green. i have been keeping the light on and also it has direct sunlight on it as well. thanks in advance

From the picture, it doesn't look good. Don't see much green. I would cut it in half and see how the inside looks. Perhaps it has some green, but I doubt it.

That moss ball is actually a type of algae. And its dead unfortunately. There may be a few strand hanging on in there but it would be a long time for that to come back.
