moss balls that are fake

Anybody know if these ornaments are 100% aquarium friendly. They seem like they would be cool decoration and they are cheap.

It's made out of foam so you would have a hard time getting it to sink

Can't beat the real thing, they sink; absorb ammonia etc (not majority), and are generally loved by tank inhabitants

Yes I love the moss balls, i have many in my 240 with my black ghost knifes, I was thinking of mixing something like this in with them so I can fill the whole bottom. Might just try and get a deal on the fluval ones that do sink...

I love my real moss balls. I occasionally tear them apart so more grow. I don't think that those fake ones are going to sink and I doubt the glue will gold together once they are in the water.
