Moss/Ferns for coldwater fish setup?

Do you guys think I could run java fern and java moss in a coldwater setup with native fish? I have some already attached to driftwood in my SA tank. If not could you guys suggest me some others I could go with the tank is never above 65 degrees thanks.
 
A lot of the mosses and lichens (java moss is an exception) are from mountain streams and do extremely well in cold water. Ferns may be a little different, but you can try it and see. I don't think cooler water kills them, just slows them down.

Here's a list of some cold water plants other than ferns and mosses.
