Was wondering if moss would be ok in a 70g tank with a few Bichirs and Ropefish?

Will it spread and cover everything?

I like the idea of having a grassy looking bottom.. So, any advice on what kind of moss to get, how to take care of it, etc would be appreciated..

Unless there is sme sort of grass that doesnt grow very long i can put in there that will spread..?

You can simply take some moss and wrap it around one side of a piece of slate or a rock, tie it with fishing line and drop it in. You'll have a nice moss bush in a few weeks. Care is minimal, when it gets too bush trim some off and begin again. Have fun.

Also if you are worried about what type of moss, java moss will be the easiest one to obtain.
