I have a 2.5g tank filtered by a sponge filter with various mosses in the tank including flame moss, java moss and one other type I cannot identify. The sponge filter runs off an air pump which causes there to be a lot of dissolved oxygen in the water. Does this mean the moss is being starved of CO2? Should I use excel or maybe even run a CO2 system? I know CO2 is not necessary with moss but I want it to grow in well before I remove the fishing line off the wood it is attached to. Thanks for any help.

I would use Excel for sure,Thats all I use and I'm not running CO2 and my plants and moss are green as ever
