I just bought a 90g reef ready tank with 29g sump and it is in pretty bad condition. I know I have to clean it very well before I put my fish or plants in it. Now this is going to be a freshwater community tank and the black cover around the in tank over flow needs to be covered. I was thinking of doing a moss wall all over it to cover it. Can this be done or am I not supposed to cover the vent? Or is there any other suggestions out there? I do plan on keeping and using the sump because of the amount of fish I have.......
