flowerhorns can be really agressive I had two that killed my electric blue jack dempsey and several other fish I had to get rid of them becasue they wouldnt stop killing my other fish pretty much all cichlids are agressive fish you just have to pick the right fish that can defend themselves and give them the space they need in selecting tank size

this has been done over and over and over and over and over again. just search, and you shall find lol

btw, red devils are mean, but there are meaner fish out there ;)

ebjd's are usually weak anyways, and these hybrids' aggression comes from many different cichlids which were bred in. Most are trimacs or red devils, which are only moderately aggressive compared to other cichlids in the hoby

if you stay away from dovii, umbee, red devils, festae your chance of putting a sa/ca tank together are alot better. but your always taking a chance when you mix them.
