hey guys...i just joined about a week ago and i was wondering what you guys think/know what the most agressive cichlid around is...i have heard a lot but everyone says different cichlids...thanks

There is no real answer. everyone will say it's something different than the person before.
It really all depends on the individual fish. They have different personalities.

yep there are ones that are more "bang for the buck" and some that share the top of the list but it will be an on going argument. There will never be a solo #1

I agree with rallysman and cichlaguapote but going to go ahead and say from my experience. Out of the cichlids I have owned I would have to say jaguar cichlids. They have tons of personality and chased my arm while I cleaned the tank. They definitely did not like me invading their space. Just imagine an oscar that you ran over its dog, peed in its cherrios, smacked it across the face, and called it a punk b*@!% and now its coming at you. I think they have massive anger issues. Very mean fish.
