Hard to argue with Chaitika's G. dicrozoster ... maybe sp. Colombia/Ven or Geophagus argyrostictus ...

The true Tapajos are Orange Heads, although they're still not properly classified. Labelling True Tapajos as Red Heads is a marketing ploy.

Most colourful Eartheater, or most Colourful Geophagus?

- Eartheater, any of the Retroculus species in my eyes.
- Geophagus, well I'd have to go with an altifrons variant just for sheer size and pearlescent colouration. G. winemilleri is also right up there for me.

i disagree japes the colors of heckelii are so stunning even in small quantities that they must be in the convo
