Most Common PBass

This may be a silly question. But its been in the back of my head for a while now and its starting to bug me! (because I cant find the answer) haha. Why are ocellaris the most common pbass available?
 
Not true, my LFS carries all the species, but Mono's seem to be the most common in my neck of the woods.............

Oh ok! Well maybe its just in my neck of the woods. Are the Monos cheap where you are? Cause it seems that where ever I look ocellaris are like ten bucks when they are small and every other breed is WAY more expensive.
 
Well the most common are the farmie occel/monos....those are the cheap ones u most likely see
 
Farm raised monos/ocell hybrids are the easiest to obtain.
 
You can tell by their appearance. Do a search for i.d. threads in the cichla forum and you will see where people have stated they are farmies. Easiest way to tell if it's a true ocell is blood red eyes at all times.
