Most difficult fish to maintain

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
Bruce our Aba aba was the hardest to "stabalize" when he was tiny... now hes a brick... hardest to maintain... our retic rays.. lots of water changes and lots of live food. our spiney eels aren't hard as long as we have live food for them, pita getting them offa live ontop anything reasonably healthy for them long term.

Electric Blue JD. They seem to die out of the *blue when they are super small. I had 2 die 2 seperate times. Living with a black calvus and and a pleco. Got ick one day and died, nothing else even had any cysts on them. Gave up and found a 4 incher for the same damn price.

retic rays i have yet to succesfuly keep them

Octopus on account it is kind of hard to get them the proper foods to eat. They are not picky eaters but that is not always a good thing in terms of nutrition.

Haitiensis and Beani. There is so much myth out there about what causes them to bloat and die so easily. It's hard to sift through the information and decide what's true and what's not. And they're just plain difficult to get past the 5" mark for so many people. And once bloat sets in, it's all over. There's just no curing it with these guys.
