Most Endangered Animals of '07 Announced

IUCN redlist has had it's annual meeting and have added many species onto the list.
16,306 species threatened with extinction, from 16,118 just last year.
The total number of extinct species has reached 785 and a further 65 are only found in captivity or in cultivation.

So the Banggai Cardinalfish is endangered? Is it legal to keep in the home aquarium? I guess if they are captive-bred it's fine right?

I am not sure if they are breeding them successfully, but it doesn't sound like it. I won't be buying those, although I have seen them at the store.

I think they can be captive bred pretty easily...
