Keep a 135 Glass at 86° F? Tank has a glass top and the ambient room temperature is 72-74° F. So would a big heater (like 500 watt) be more cost effective to run because it turns on less or would a smaller heater (like 350 watt) be better? Suggestions please.

Thanks!

it wont be that much to keep it up there because once the tank is up to temp, the heaters will only come on periodically after that.

I was able to get my 165g up to 86 to treat a bout of ich using two 250 Ebo Jager heaters.

they are the best brand out there IMO.

probably two 200w ebos (one at each end near your filter intakes) would be your best bet.
