Most Interactive Fish for a 55 Gallon Tank

Hey Guys I have a 55 gallon heavily filtered tank that had been cycling for 2 months now and I want a very personable, interactive, and intelligent fish or fishes that will interact with me. Also the fish would also has to be able to live it’s full life in a 55 Gallon Tank

Actually the fish have been with me for 2-3 years now and I found the cause of death. It was because of a UV light that broke. Also the tank has been fully cleaned with a new filter but with pre cycled media and biological bacteria added as well

Well that's good, an interactive fish for a 55 gallon is spotted congo puffer. They are expensive running about $200 a piece at the moment but they have the personality you're looking for from what I hear. Does that suit your fancy or is it a bit too rich for your blood?

I’ll second the puffer. If you want try natives, I have a Warmouth and he’s very personable and has an appetite that puts Oscars to shame. Here’s a vid of mine. I’ve kept other sunfish and they were all very interactive. If you decide to go that route, I can tell you where to get cb natives

Funny coincidence, I added a 2.5” bala to my tank with 3.5” warmouth a few hrs ago just to grow the bala out a little and here was the result . ?
