Hey guys im going saltwater, again, im done with the fresh water for now, i am wanting to get a trigger fish, i had one once before, it was an undulated trigger and it was the shyest fish ever, all it would do is hide form me all day, and get all scared if i walked in the room, etc etc, i was wondering what your guys opinion on the most interactive trigger fish is? one that will attack my hand from outside the tank, and try to rip my arm off when i stick it in the tank (exaggerating)....def something that isn't gonna be all skittish and shy...... you know one that is always coming up to the tank when i open the lid to feed it........ so do u guys have any suggestons?

clown!
they look amazing as well.
i used to have one, and he was probably the most interactive fish i ever kept, the cool thing was he associated me with food, but not my dad, who he'd act less eager around.

i realy like the niger triggers i just got a small 2" one to got with my small lion and hes pretty cool he comes up to the front to check me out and iam sure he will get more outgoing as he gets bigger, plus they arent as mean as other triggers i was worried he would bug my lion but nothing yet

pinktail trigger. mine allways comes to greet me when i am in front of tank he eats from my hand they are cool interactive fish .

Agree w/****** and Clowns. It is odd that you said your Undulatted was shy. Was it in a tank all by himself? I had one that I put in last to a pred. tank and instantly became the most dominate, boisterous fish in the tank. He always greated me and attacked the algae scraper. Unfortunately, he also liked to attack other fish and hermit crabs.

I agree...a clown would be a great fish that actually acts like a pet.

Penn, did you plan on keeping anything else with the trigger, or are you planning on a species tank?
