Out of the ones I've personally been bitten by (dovii, jag, jd, rd, oscar) the dovii wins hands down.
Do umbee grow large teeth?

full grown red devils alson have a nasty set of teeth.

I said jagz cuz each time i got nailed by my 15" male it drew blood, never failed...haha....and hurt like a mo fo.

actually it would be a parachromis species or (guapote) since they have large pseudocanine teeth that show and are in the front of there mouth..i dont think any other cichlids have these teeth..

My oscar has really only given me a painful bite. My male convict bit me once, but it was more of a shock thing than anything.

Never had a painful bite from a cichlid. I got a minor sting from a baby bullhead, they have some minor venom in their pectoral spines. Those actually hurt for a few minutes.
