pound for pound buck for buck if your on a tight budget looking for an excellent filter cascade 1500 hands down......with very few mods like drilling larger holes in the spray bar and stuffing filter pads around the outside of the topbasket this filter is amazingly quiet and powerful imo

pound for pound, buck for buck, I'll make my own:)

Otherwise in my personal experience it has been a free XP3. I've learned that I wont buy one, but you can't beat free!

Hands down best medium size canister filter ever is the Fluval 403. Simple design, lots of room for media and motors that last forever. If you can find them, buy them, use them, love them.

I got one and god must have touched it because the water it creates looks like something a rapper would drink out of one of those 10K krunk cups That tank also has an eheim classic 2215 also touched by the hand of god and the ability to biologically filter pounds of poop.

LOL. You guys are funny.
My 403 is quiet. That's about all I can say about it. Other than the fact that it was free too.

Not to mention the space available. I got one tray of prefilter some filter floss and two trays of bio action. They rule :D

Anyone else use these and agree?

This should probably be moved to Setup and Filteration...
