Most Underrated Fish

Many of you know that I keep and sell LOTS of fishes, sometimes fish come in today and out the next. Mainly because they were not what I had expected, and/or it's boring.

Now, I've wanted this fish ever since I saw a picture of it on a Japanese website.

About a year ago, I finally saw them available through Not Just Fish (a seller), and I immediately bought a school of 10. I've never kept them, but I knew these were the most awesome schooling fish out there - and I was right.

Unfortunately those fishes that came were much bigger than described (which is actually very generous of the seller), and I had to turned around and sell them all, due to the lack of proper accomodation for them.

A year later, I missed out the chance to get another school of 10 1" specimens, but I managed to buy this one (about 3+ months ago). I actually offered him up for sale on severl ocassions because I felt he needed more company from other similar schooling fish, but no one wanted him, and I'm very glad he's still with me.

I was interested in the barb when you had it for sale but you don't ship. I think that fish is awsome, and so is the ray and nile perch.

Yeah, I'd be cool to have one of the barbs. They all look good, and great photos as usual.

How big does it get?

I should've included the name, which is Hampala macrolepidota.

Gets about 2ft give or take.

If it's the same ray that you've shown Dixon, then it's definitely not the same fish.
