Nice looking BN you got there.

I wouldn't call them the most underrated when it comes to the people who have owned fish for awhile. To the novice I would agree. Only simply because there not that readily available as say the huge commons like P. pardalis, P. gibbiceps and P. disjunctivus being the top three I see in my area. Which makes me wonder why the local mom and pop shops have the same commons as the big box stores when it would be easier to just breed and maintain a steady population of BN's which could be sold at about the same price as commons. Back on topic though I always hear good praises when it comes to BN's on here and other forums.

I got 3 in my 20 gallon right now that was in my lil bro's room. It's full of diatoms which they seem to like cause they cleared my 53 gallon of it withing a few days. See how long it takes for them to do the 20 now.

In my opinion the bulldog or rubber lip pleco is the most underrated. Paid $1 for mine it has become one of my favorites very skittish but kind of funny in their movements.

One of my favorites as well...got him for 3 bucks at petsmart. Gotta love that smile, lol. His name is Vejayjay ;)

Really rmk??? Vejayjay? That is just wrong lol.

Not much up here. I really wasn't expecting that one lol. Imagine having a guy friend over and saying there goes Vejayjay how quick they will turn to see it just to realize it's your pleco lol.

Until they reproduce by the thousands. By the way, here, they are the "common pleco", and the ones you have in the US are rare here.
