What are the Bichirs you cqan find in the Philippines aside from the Ornate, Endli Endli, Senegalus Palmas ?? and Delhezi

Those are pretty much all of them in your list. P. bichir lapradei sometimes shows up. So far I only know 3 people that owns them.

Commonly seen bichirs in the Philippines are:

Polypterus Endlicheri Endlicheri
Polypterus Ornatipinnis
Polypterus Delhezi (Mostly stripeless)
Polypterus Palmas Polli
Polypterus Senelagalus Senegalus (Albino is alos available)
Polypterus Bichir Lapradei (rarely shows up)

Other species are not available in lfs unless you order them online form other country.

I know there are 1 person in Cebu that are keeping laps. 2 were sold in Cartimar before.

The best way to get the bichir that you want is to order them online.

Dels are stripeless because they're captive bred for the most part. The only ones I have not seen based on King-El's list is the lapradei.

Uting, try to save your cash, get a permit from BFAR for 150 pesos I think and see if someone can ship you the fish you want. Of course, the Bureau of Customs requires medical certificates of the fish I believe. Permit is valid for only one month so plan ahead before you get your permit.

uting, let me know if ever you get a lap. they "rarely" show up (almost never) here in CC. :(
