I have pair of Mota's from Rio Chamacal. They are NOT Red Tigers, but the females do get some red, and are very pretty and the males have much more color than male RTM's. They are laying eggs every 3-4 weeks, and I don't remove the fry, so they just end up as fish food. This morning the fry were still there, so if any one wants the fry, or the next batch, please let me know, and be ready to come get them, asap. Near LAX.

Fry are now free swiming as of this morning. If anyone wants to pick these up for free, please do so soon, as they will turn into fish food. I am not set up yet to grow any fry out, so I am leaving spawn in tank, with all the cichlid community.

well he probably doesnt want to waste the gas to get a ****ty looking fish? i wouldnt either...not saying your fish are ****ty lol

They're free, what more do you want? Delivered to your door next? :screwy:

he IS in Massachusetts, so if he wanted even free fry they would have to be delivered, so yes, he does have a valid question.
i've seen these in person and they are gorgeous. the head is very different from normal mota heads - it's a lot more angular and elongated and has a predatory look.

The guy says they're free ... he never said anything about shipping. Maybe you should ask if he be willing to go postal first?

I can take pics, but as ewok says, and he has been over my place a couple of times, and knows how they look. These are a strain from Rio Chamacal, Female is not as red as RTM, but very beautiful, and males, in my opinion, have more going on than male rtm's. Will try and have pics of parnets tomorrow, hopfully fry are still alive by then? Key word...FREE.
