mota, nonhealing wound??

i have a 5-6in. male red tiger mota i purchased form jeff rapps last winter, he has a small cicrcular wound on one side that just wont heal, its about 1/2 in. in diameter and looks raw, hes had it for atleast a month probably 2. he is otherwise completely healthy, eats a ton, growing very fast and very aggressive??? ive tried salt and have good clean water with 2 30% changes weekly. what should i do??

you should try Melafix.you can find it at pet smart,Wal-Mart and many LFS.It sounds like an ulcer,if so Melafix should work

or move him to like a 20 gallon add some aquarium salt and rais the temp to like 84

should help alot
