Motaguense, Got 6 individuals from 1 inch to 2.5 inches last November, this particular one has tremendous appetite, he/she was the bully among the six and always had a full stomach. He/she is now at the 4 inch mark. Not bad for 1.5 months

That's one beast female! I've heard that the Dominant females tend to be the bullies at the beginning and grow quicker than males in motaguense until 2-3 inches! My male has had a quite pleasing growth rate! Got him in August at <1 inch and now he is 4.5-5! so near an inch a month so far! I believe females growth slows down once they start producing eggs, don't know how close yours is to that, but color looks amazing!
