Motaguense????

Looking for some information on these bad boys, particularly personal experience that I can't get from a web site. Any pics would be appreciated as well.

i have jags ... 3 of them .. mine are all really skiddish .. but i picked them up at less then 1" and they have not been growing well .. feeding blood worms for months now and just started putting some size on them .. but LOTS of people have jags here

They are amazing cichlids with the possibility for explosive aggression. I have had mixed temperament individuals. some were ok with other fish and some were just unrelentingly aggressive. There are two types with the Red variant being more popular than the gold.

i have two jags, managuense. but i'm guessing he's talking about a red tiger motaguense, and i like the look of these guys a lot.

i havnt had them personally but ive always wanted some really bad, there easily the best lookin fish in that family (in my opinion). ive always had jags and still hav some and ive heard there more aggresive than jags and pairs make good parents.

VRWC on here had a pair of them in a 265 w/ a pair of dovii and they got along fine. They were both breeding pairs even.
