Motley Crue Possible?

Alright, so I've been toying with the idea of getting a trio of discus for my 120g. In the next 2 months, here is what I have planned for my 120g.

1.2 Motoros
0.0.3 D.Pulcher
0.0.1 Gold Severum
0.0.1 B.Tigrinum

The above fish are set in stone. Now, would adding a school of discus be possible?

I wouldn't, they are too aggressive and the discus are too fragile, IMO.

Yes...I would think that the discus would be way too stressed by the other fish.

all of those in a 120g??? i take it thats just there growing on tank then?

but yeh sevrums and pulchers would bother the dicus alot.

just do a discus and stingray tank......they are beatiful tanks and everyone that looks at your tank thinks that it is Saltwater.....people who know little about fish

The 120g will suffice for about a year before I plan on upgrading. I think I'm going to give it a shot anyway. I want to see how the rays, dats, and sev interact before I add the discus. But hell, I've kept discus with pbass in the past without too much trouble. Who knows?

I have discus with my two 8 inch dats and they fine. My dats are mellow though and only pic on each other. The severum for sure will pester the discus to death!

My dat came form a discus tank because of pestering. He was only a baby at the time at 2.5" but was still able to make 6" discus uncomfortable and killed a couple of the guys smaller 4" ones.
