Motoro acting weird

I have had my Motoro for about a month now. She has always been very active and eats constantly but she would only eat blood worms. Yesterday i got her to take shrimp for the first time she eat three hole ones in the morning and three that night. In the morning i gave her two shrimp and three blood worm cubes. Well tonight i went to feed her and she had buried her self. When I put food in the tank she didn't take it right away but then came out and eat it and buried her self right away. This is very strange for her because she never buries herself not even when I first put her in the tank. I also noticed for the first time the rays poop was light pink and white.


Thanks guys I just want to make sour my ray is ok.

Its normal for rays to want to hide from time to time. Mine do that same thing. One of my males is very active, but from tiem to time seems to want to spend the day under the sand. Souldnt worry about it if she is still eating..
As far as the poop, I would say its just do to a diet change.

Are you feeding her a bit too much. Rays that are usually active very rarely bury themselves.

That's very possible i have been feeding her alot more then normal lately. thanks guys for all the advice.

If feeding heavy, keep an eye on your parameters.

Yah I would test
PH (tank and tap)
ammonia
Nitrite

Just to be safe but it might just be an upset stomach

the ray just might be going into a food coma haha, taking a nap after a large meal

I think it was to much food because i tested my water and it had 0 ammonia 0 nitrite .5 nitrate and a ph of 7.6 (tap water is the same) and this morning she is out and happy as always.
