Motoro and Geophagus = Problem?

Do you think it is a problem if the Geophagus is picking sand from the ray? They been together for about half a year and no damage on the ray. I'm more worried about stress.

Considering rays always clamber over each other, I'd think it wouldn't be a problem.

That's a beautiful set up, BTW.

I have 3x motoro and 6x geophagus altifrons together, no problem at all.. But the geophagus are pretty jumpy here, and they scare the rays at the same time, that sucks a little.
 
Mrt, I think they're interacting fine. I think you need another ray though! :)

By the way... What type of sand is that? Great looking tank! Very tranquil.

I will get another ray when I upgrade the tank, right now I consider the tank as full, it i only a 142 g tank.

I don't know what kind of sand it is, it is a cheap sand bought from a company called "Biltema" here in Sweden.
