all responses are welcome! i currently have a 125 set up with a 16 inch florida gar i have had for 10 years, a 13 inch tsn and 2 female motoros around 7 and 9 inches. the tank is in great shape and everyone has been getting along for the past 2 years. my problem is that i miss keeping sa cichlids. i was wanting to know if it would be possible to keep a pbass with this combo or maybe even an oscar. i am upgrading to a 240 with in a year. thanks for the replies.

Since cichla are messy fish you must be sure to maintain excellent water quality but otherwise all should be fine.

ur water must be garbage already without the pbass...
there was a thread on mfk somewhere that showed the damage a pbass did to a motoro. risk it if you like, i wouldn't do it.

Oh also just make sure the pbass isnt too big. Start small and you should be fine. I have an orinosis about 5" and a Mono about 12" and they never even bat an eye at my 8" ray.

awesome setup, what size is the tank.i di find a 10 inch mono hybrid for sale i may buy. i think it would be a cool look. i had 16 inch pbass before, but i was out of town and a storm hit and no power, and all fish but my gar died. that sucked
