Hello, bear with me for a bit because I'm new to rays. I just picked up my first teacup ray about 3 weeks ago now. Eating like a pig and doing great. My first question is can teacups and Motoro's be housed together? Also, if so what is the chance for breeding in a very large tank? Quick pic of my teacup.

I am guessing the ray in question is a retic one of many rays labeled as teacup in the pet trade but I would check out the ray profile sticky to be sure since I can not see a picture

They only issue you may run into with mixing the two is that motoros tend to be more aggressive and grow much larger so they may stress or out compete for food the retic.

I would assume that they can cross breed but don't recall ever seeing an example which may be because of the above mentioned.

Is it a boy or girl, get some pick up of the little guy I love a retic with a nice pattern. Welcome to the ray forum prepare to lose all your free time and money :)
