Hey Guys- I have a problem. I have a female and a male motoro that have grown together in the same tank (300 gallons) for about a year now. Both are about a foot in diameter and there always seems to have been a conflict issue between them. Since I'm not sure of the sex I can state that one of the motoro started exhibiting signs of injury many months back. This looked like white splotches around the outer area of the body and also a white spot on his/her's back.
Although I suspected this injury was the cause of the other motoro I am viewing more evidence that this is the case. The uninjured motoro seems to be constantly attacked by the healthy motoro and I even see bite marks. What would everyone recommend? I have another tank with some fancy goldfish that is about 120 gallons. It has no gravel or rocks. Should I move one of the rays to this tank? The agressor or the injured? How would I do this successfully??
Thanks guys!
Brad
