Motoro eating habit

Hey guys:

Dont know if this happens on a somewhat basis, but i fed my new male motoro ray two big nitecrawlers this morning before going to work. They were gone by the time i was off to work. Came home a little while ago and he had regurgiated some of the worms. almost looks like most of them, kinda hard to tell, but definintley they are the worms. Right now he is the only fish in the tank. Still waiting on getting a female.

Is this normal sometimes?? I put in some frozen shark formula made for rays etc and he ate them overnite no problems, could it be two worms are too much for him and only feed him one at a time. I Know he is still young his disck size is roguhly 5".

You sure its not ray waste? It looks like a dried and shriveled up worm.

Yeah thats what it looks like, dried shriveled up worms, probably is ray waste, since i am new to having rays, did not know what to expect. Thanks for the info guys, man they are messy.

I know he is eating them, when i put them in the tank, he goes nuts and eats them up. Always hungry, The frozen food i put in his tank every nite, is always gone by morming, so he is eating quite well.

The worms are whole worms, not cut up, he is big enought i would expect to devour whole worms. His disc size has to be at least 5 to 7 inches.

I will post pictures later on here for everyone to see.
