How fast do these guys grow? I have a male and a female at about 5". I am feeding shrimp and cut up nightcrawlers with a weekly water change of approx. 35-40%.

Here is an idea of how fast they grow...I bought a female motoro at around 4.5"-5" around last winter-ish. She is now pushing 7" and 6.5" at the minimum.
I also here they can grow up to around 10"-ish in their first year IF proper care is practiced.

Difficult question with so many factors involved. Lots of water changes and power feeding equals fast growing rays. Normal water changes and 1-2 feedings a day equals slower growing rays. Then you have to take into consideration the individual ray that might max out at 12" or 24". Yours could grow to be 8-10 inches in a year or it could grow 12".
