Motoro Mole

my Motoro looks like he has a big brown mole on his belly. Is it a mole? is this normal?

i have tried takeing a pic but its really hard to focus on it. plus i have to wait for him to swim up the side of the tank

Ive seen this on many motorro rays.

Shouldnt be anything to worry about but just keep an eye on it just in case!

As long as it doesn't move, I wouldn't worry about it.

I've had plenty of motoros with dark spots, whether it be raised or not. I thought of them as "beauty marks" as well.

yes many Motoros have this dot, it is mark where ( no Idea to find the right word) *g*

It is like the hole we humans have on the Belly where in Belly of our Mother we had that "Rope" which feeded us, u know what I mean

I'm not sure if I agree with the "umbillical cord" theory. I have 9 motoros and a few of them have more than one spot on the bottom. One of them has 4and I doubt she had 4 umbillical cords or in a rays case, yolk sacs. I think they are beauty marks just as others have suggested.

My female has like 3 or 4 spots on her belly.
