hello people im new to the forum but not to fresh water rays
i kept rays and aros 7 years ago but then moved on to reef keeping.
anyway im back now and have moved back into rays again .
i currently have 2 blue spot motoros 1 female 1 male.
whan i bought them their was only 1 male out of about 15 females so i took him. i did notice when i was there that the male had some burn marks on his underside but seemed to be heeling , they were both feeding really well on prawn, mussel and worms and river shrimp, but now 2 months on the male is not very active and seems to have some sort of slime coat on his underside. i have tryed to take a better look and it seems like a sort of rash or fungus . please can anyone tell me what i might be able to treat this with, i was thinking melafix but dont know how the ray would react to this, ammonia levels are 0 as is n02 . n03 is about 25 and i am in the process of getting these down thru water changes, ph is 6.7 and alk 8.3.
please people any advice is good advice
