Hello, Im wondering how long a pair of 4-6" motoro would last in a tank with the dimensions 4'x2'x30"? The previous owner had a breeding pair of motoros in their for quite some time, but they only had a disc of 14"+. I had a reticulated ray in the past, and had him handfeeding on bloodworms and getting fat for a few months, but my wolf fish went ape and bit him and killed him. I traded the wolf in. So, the tank mates for the ray would include datnoids, largest around 7" and a Leiarius pictus around 8". I really like what i've been reading about motors, how they take a variety of food more easily, tame well, and i like their spots/coloration. But if its a really bad idea then I might pass. If I upgraded tank sizes in the future, it probably wouldnt be for another 4 years of so, as I graduate college in a year.
