Yes That happens sometimes ,lost a L128 that way.

Good point toby! Scary that is! I think it may already had bin dead, as catfish is not a popular feeder fish?

I did wonder if it was dead already. It looks like a large ancistrus...have you checked the nitrate reading recently as they can die in high nitrate water...I lost a breeding pair due to this once.

Nitrat is around 25, change over 50% water every 4 days, religiously.
