motoro ray tankmates

i have recently picked up a 6" disc motoro ray for a steal, and was wondering what people think to possible tank mates. he is currently with a 5" male argentea, a red tail ruby shark and a couple of plecs. i was thinking of adding a group of geos and a small group of red neck sevs due to the argentea being a soppy ba$tard. but i am stuck on catfish ideas and whiether i can get away with a hystrix and arowana aswell. tank is plenty big enough and water turn over is around 8x per hour.

any help would be great

I would allow for your ray to get some size. I had a synspilum attack one of my rays over worms. Harassed the ray until she regurgitated it. SO WATCH CLOSELY. Good Luck and Enjoy!!!!

thanks yama, my ray is doing great chomping down on prawns, beef heart, blood worm and the occasional pellet that reaches the bottom he is an absolute pig diving on-top of all the food he can. he is over a year old as the guy i got him from had him for a year before me.

do hystrix and motoro rays get along with each other?

Motoro and hystrix can go together most likely, but offcourse you have to watch out, every ray has its own personality, so there is no plane answere. How big is your tank btw?
