Hi guys , i just joined the forum today hahas :) . This is my motoro pair , the female is the one infront . I just got the female 3 days ago , just ate a some frozen ghost shrimp today . The one behind is a male i had for 2 months , eats market prawn readily and love frozen ghost shrimp . I tried pellet training the male since last month but gave up after 4 days of straving . i intend to try again as i might be going for a holiday soon , no one will be at home . If they accept pellets , i can use a auto feeder . i do not really like live feeders because of the disease they carry . Any advice on pellet training ? is hikari canivore sinking pellets good enough ?
Thanks in advance guys :D

I have a 9" WC motoro from peru, and a few other WC motoros, and they all readily accept shrimp pellets no problem.. just have to soak them in warm water for a little.

Massivore takes forever to get soft, and even my big guys have a hard time eating them.

I would try shrimp pellets, as they are smaller, and see how that goes.

pellets with auto feeders is the only way to feed them when ur not ard.
but pellet training may take time.
good luck and enjoy them.

Nice rays, but as said, skinny! If they feed market shrimp, just put some pellets inside the shrimps?Make a few holes and put it in there.
Your answer reminded me of a quote..:screwy:

"God damn it, Gump! You're a god damn genius! This is the most outstanding answer I have ever heard. You must have a goddamn I.Q. of 160. You are goddamn gifted, Private Gump. Listen up, people... "

okays , thanks for the advice :grinno:

You can always feed worms that you find outside, but you have to be wary if they have ingested any chemicals.

I went online and bought some, and then I took some from outside, and threw them in a big, and they have babies all the time!

I feed aquarian shrimp pellets, as it's whats most available for price- but I have also fed ken's.
